The Pet Friendly Lodge
We are a small group of pet lovers that enjoy sharing every day life with our pets.
We have in common our passion for animal life, and as a group, we have pets of all classes of the animal kingdom (that's including Matthew's ant farm!)
We realize that pet friendly travel is usually focused in travels with dogs, and just the small and middle size breeds are welcome. This is because dogs are more likely to be taken with the owner when traveling, and because those are the pets that will enjoy the most of a runaway. If you have a dog you will agree with us that his home is where his master lives.
In the opposite hand, cats and other kind of pets such as rodents and birds, are more found of the place where they are used to live and consider you (the owner) just as part of this place. They will have a more stressful experience if you just take them from their home.
This doesn't mean that you can't travel with your cat if she is used to it! but you will be part of a smaller group in regard with dog owners. Not even to mention if you are traveling with other kind of pet!
We know that there are many good pet friendly places to stay that we are involuntarily letting aside, but we are doing our best in recommending what we know are good pet friendly Hotels and pet friendly Inns or Condos.
We update our information regularly to include new places based on our own experience and the experience of friends and users of this website. So, visit us often to stay tune with the news!
